Why did I become a Massage Therapist ?
After years of working in both technology and customer service I realized that I wasn't enjoying my life and I was abusing my body. The abuse wasn't intentional it was the result of living years in a Sedentary lifestyle.
This revolution in the Summer of 2011 was the energy that helped me create so many changes in many aspects of my personal life and helped me reconsider my professional future.
I am in this profession because I believe there is more to life. There is more to this life than our 9-5 schedule, endless media programs and social media updates!
Life can be so much more than many of us are living.
I believe all forms of bodywork have a unique power to return us to the moment of "now".
I believe through the use of these therapies you can have a happier and more fulfilled life.

Adrienne "AJ" Andrews-Dyke
I am a certified Massage Therapist from Woodstock NY with over 10 years cumulative experience. My education includes massage therapy certification, LPN training, and First Responder courses with CPR and First Aid certifications. I also worked in geriatric care for several years. Currently I am working in a chiropractic office and I use my education and life experience to help tailor treatment plans to meet the needs of each patient.
Massage therapy is an individualized healing art. It is an intuitive practice that allows integration of various modalities into my practice. I maintain a firm belief in holistic medicine, alternative and natural therapies. The human machine is the most intricate and fascinating structure known, and functions best when care is aimed at the whole person. I continue learn as much as possible about the human body and how to positively effect it through bodywork.
My approach to massage therapy uses many different techniques and modalities including: deep tissue massage, sports massage for rehabilitation and performance enhancement muscle energy technique, trigger point therapy, active isolated stretching, cupping, hot stone therapy, swedish massage, geriatric massage, and mother infant boding sessions.
I look forward to meeting each new patient and working with them to develop their personalized treatment plan.
